Deirdre Dwyer

A senior health care professional with considerable experience in health quality standards development and healthcare audit. Proven skills in project management and delivering outcomes on time. A history of managing peer review and training programmes. She is a qualified MBTI consultant.

Extensive experience of working with secondary and primary care organizations and across whole systems in both England and Wales.

As well as a Director of Quintessent, works as a performance specialist in health for the Audit Commission and on a contractual basis with the Audit Office Wales.

Tracey Sparkes

With a background in nursing, Tracey has extensive experience in improving the quality of health service delivery through standards development, consultancy, training, audit and inspection.

Tracey has had a variety of posts in the health sector, covering clinical, operational and developmental posts, focusing on primary care and services for older people. The majority of these posts involved working across health and social care sectors, using knowledge of the different cultures and experiences to facilitate communication and service development.

Tracey also works as a senior performance specialist for the Audit Commission.

Caroline Machray: MSc, BSc (Hons), BA (Hons)

Caroline has over twenty years management and consultancy experience in health and social both in the UK and overseas. She is a trained facilitator, mentor, LEA (360 degree feedback) Assessor, accredited facilitator for the NHS Leadership Qualities Framework and qualified user of Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Her consultancy portfolio includes work undertaken for the Department for International development, the Kings Fund, the Health Commission and the Improvement Foundation. As a Director in Quintessent she also works with practices, PCTs and national NHS bodies to support quality improvement, personal and leadership development and project management and delivery.

Caroline is an associate with Karen Picking and Associates delivering quality improvement through leadership and organizational development.
